Wishmakers

Formed by those who discovered they possessed magic powers after the apocalyptic energy wave crashed into the park forcefields. They seek to answer the questions of what the wave was and how it granted them the magic they now possess.

Structure

Currently there is no known hierarchy. It is merely a conglomeration of magic users who are trying to understand their new powers and to help others.

Public Agenda

Like the Disney characters of the Blue Fairy or the Fairy Godmother, the Wishmakers want to help those who are deemed worthy of their wish being granted.
They are working in secret as they know what outsiders do not understand must be erradicated.

Divine Origins

When the apocalypse wave hit, magic was introduced to the world. Those who already believed in the Disney magic were astonished to find that their dreams and wishes could come true. As they tested the limits (of which they found none), they banded together in a secret society to continue their practice and when the need arises, grant wishes to those in need.

Cosmological Views

The Wishmakers believe that the wave that hit the parks was the re-introduction of manifested imagination. The power of imagination is truly limitless and allows for anything to be possible.
The members research and test their magic to determine what caused the imagination wave. 
Was it the birth of a new god? Or perhaps something darker like the death of a god? Was it intentional? Was it a random occurrance? 
OR is it just another historical event for the 2020s?

Tenets of Faith

• Wishes can only be granted to those who are in absolute need or who have shown tremendous moral goodness
• The use of magic/wishes for selfish purposes is forbidden
• Resurrections are forbidden as there are consequences for meddling with the natural order of life and death

Granted Divine Powers

Being a member does not grant powers. Rather the members are those who already posess the powers of magic and wish granting.
