Archmage
Requirements
The Archmage must be a master manaweaver. They must have an in-depth understanding of the processes involved with running the college.
Appointment
A vote is held by the Ancient Scholar's guild, which selects the most knowledgeable member of their own guild to become the Archmage.
Duties
The Archmage must ensure that the Academy is a safe place for novice to expert Manaweaver's, all whist giving them the freedom to choose their own individual paths, and explore the diverse array of spells, items, and other fascinating aspects of Manaweaving.
Responsibilities
The Archmage is a very respected role within all of society, with him often being called to meet with Kings and other members of royalty. They act as a Royal adviser, as well as the organiser of important meetings within the Academy to fix issues, and make changes to the courses offered.

The Archmage gets access to the best Manaweaving equipment and facilities in the whole of Whitehearth, as well as the power to advise political leaders on a whole array of issues.
Accoutrements & Equipment
The Ancient Scholar's Robes are presented as uniform for the Archmage. These robes are said to be extremely powerful, and only the most powerful Manaweavers can successfully attune to them.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
If the Archmage makes decisions that do not reflect the core values of the ancient scholars guild, then his status as Archmage can be removed.
