Volcanic resilience. You have resistance to fire damage.

Tool Proficiency. You gain proficiency with the artisan's tools of your choice: smith's tools, brewer's supplies, or mason's tools.

Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
A dwarf’s name is granted by a clan elder, in accordance with tradition. Every proper dwarven name has been used and reused down through the generations. A dwarf’s name belongs to the clan, not to the individual. A dwarf who misuses or brings shame to a clan name is stripped of the name and forbidden by law to use any dwarven name in its place.
Beauty Ideals
Beards are an important part of every dwarves life- females included. A longer, thicker and healthier beard is very attractive. Being a heavier weight is also ideal.
Gender Ideals
Dwarves have a rigid social structure, but both genders can take any role. Not that you'd know, as they have basically no sexual dimorphism. All dwarves look like hirsute bearded folks (the beard is part of the rigid social structure, and not having one is considered shameful). The dwarven language does not have gendered pronouns (it has pronouns based on rank, but that's another matter), and most dwarves who don't really look into the matter end up with male pronouns in other languages as a result of assumptions regarding beards.
Courtship Ideals
As a result of this difficulty in figuring out actual genders, most dwarves end up not caring - after all, they've already fallen in love by the time they find out if their partner is male or female.
Relationship Ideals
Hetero couples create the largest clans of dwarves, and same-sex couples tend to adopt and have smaller families.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Dwarfs speak, read and write Dwarvish and Common.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Dwarves highly value the ties between family members and friends, weaving tightly knit clans. Dwarves particularly respect elders, from whom they expect sound leadership and the wisdom of experience, as well as ancestral heroes or clan founders. They also, perhaps moreso than most other races, turned to their gods for guidance and protection.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Most dwarven societies are divided into clans built along family ties and political allegiances. These clans are usually led by hereditary rulers, often monarchs of a sort and descended from the founder of the clan. Dwarves strongly value loyalty to these rulers and to the clan as a whole and even objective dwarves tend to side primarily with their kin over other races or communities.
These clan structures promote a tradition of inbreeding. This is so excessive that it is considered one of the reasons for the dwarves' low birth rate
Common Taboos
Not having a beard is very looked down on.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Dwarfs despise goblins and orcs, and have a strong relationship with gnomes. They are neutral to most other races like humans and elves.
