Quokur was exceptionally gifted with magic, even as a child. He was obsessed with reading, learning, and practicing all schools of magic. He attended the Manaweaver academy, and completed his 3 Year course in Divination, before deciding to stay on and become a Master. This required an additional 7 years of learning, but by this time he had outgrown every student in his class, and even his own professor. He was then offered a job as the new Head of Divination. For over 150 years he has served this position, and hasn't lost an ounce of enthusiasm for learning, or teaching to fresh faces.

Quoker loves to learn and teach, he is loved by his students and seen as a really fun, relaxed teacher. He's not so relaxed that you can get away with everything but so long as your enthusiastic you'll be on his good side. He rarely loses his temper but everyone has a limit. He lives to teach and teaches to live.
