The Verdant Territory

The Elves have existed in whitehearth for centuries, where they have had peaceful relations with the herptile natives. The elves live only within forests and guard the trees, rivers, and the beasts within the forests from human interference, with extreme success. The Verdant territory was created by the elves as a way to protect habitats and natives by enforcing borders around the woodland biomes of whitehearth, and preventing humans from harvesting resources, such as wood, coal, stone, and converting the forests into farmland.
