Session XXVIII: "I'm married Freya!" Report

General Summary

With the fiend slain and the eye collected all that remained to collect from this forsaken swamp was two Blood Eel stomachs. From what A'Ren told them, the stomachs could be collected from the Haword Fort located towards the southern portion of the swamp.
Taking the evening to recouperate after the battle the party rest and feast on trail rations and tend to their wounds. Freya climbs up the large tree that Malfuriel was pinned to wishing to examine it and collect components. Whilst at the top of the tree she came into contact with a diseased leaf that inflicted her with Bloodsight. Returning to the floor she became hostile to Kethra.
The night passed slightly awkward due to Freya's infliction, yet through it the fighter and enchantress duo learned of an interesting detail. While thinking back on the event of Kethra receiving the Blade of Darkened Vengeance from an unknown half-elf, they recall seeing that exact same half-elf within images in the mansion library. Alongside them was the hobgoblin wizard Ceicilious "Celey" Martengrew.
Heading out the party ventured to the Haword Fort using Freya's Clearing Field spell once more to ease their passage. They came upon the sinking fortress and Kethra used her new powers as an Echo Knight to venture in and spoke to the Oni within, Nifzar. The received explict permission to fish the eels out, so long as he had nothing to do with it. His demeanour and words warned them of the master dwelling below and gave a sense of urgency to their actions.
Through teamwork and carefully placed spells the party were able to easily obtain two full-bodied eels and quickly departed the fort to return to Tip-top. Upon their way there, they were set upon by two water elementals that stole Freya off the raft!
