Evandil Lietarias

Evandil Lietarias is a male elf of Molaesmyr. He was one of the original researchers into finding a permanent portal between the material plane and the feywild. For some reason, unknown to him, when the portal was opened, it failed. He ran when it started killing and corrupting the people around him. As he ran towards the exit of the city, he was pulled into the shadowfell and found refuge in a church that was for Corellon in the material plane, but the Raven Queen in the shadowfell.
He and 4 others hid from the horrors of the shadowfell until they slowly started succumbing to the madness of it. He admitted to killing one that he thought was stealing food. Two more died while searching for food in teh nearby buildings. And the last was found by the party in the corner of the library of the church with a bloody axe laying nearby. Evandil talked to the skeleton like that person was still alive.
He conspired against the party by inviting an undead wraith commander to take them, although he did it unwillingly. The party defended themselves and he locked himself away for fear of retribution. He was convinced, however, to escape the shadowfell with them and successfully made it back to the material plane.
What he does now is unclear.
