Firbolg Parentage
Firbolgs are adapted to life in the deep forest. Though they stand between 7 and 8 feet tall and weigh between 240 and 300 pounds, they prove difficult to track due to their innate magic. Between short bursts of invisibility and certain illusory magicks, firbolg are masters of elusion. Firbolgs have bluish skin or a thin covering of pale blue hair. They also have a pink nose and long ears. In addition to their blue coat of fur, most firbolg sport a second coat of hair that covers their heads. Some firbolgs can grow beards with
it as well.
Firbolg Traits
You have a pool of 16 points to spend between your two birth parents. If either or both of your birth parents are a Firbolg, choose from the following.Firbolg Magic (8 Points)
- You can cast detect magic and disguise self with this trait. Once you cast either spell, you can’t cast it again with this trait until you finish a short or long rest. When you use this version of disguise self, you can seem to be the height of humans or elves, allowing you to more easily blend in. You can also cast these spells using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Long-Lived (0 Points)
- If you inherit this trait from your other birth parent also, your lifespan is relatively long.
Hidden Step (5 Points)
- As a bonus action, you can magically turn invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack, make a damage roll, or force someone to make a saving throw. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Powerful Build (1 Point)
- You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
