Vurradians
Calling the Vurradians uncivilised would be as far from the truth as it can get. True, their civilisations are often very different from ours and may not as large, but there are still many things we could've learned from Vurradians. Unfortunately for them, we have better weapons.Technically speaking, there is no such race as Vurradians. Instead, it is a collective noun referring to natives of the New World as opposed to the five so-called "civilised" human races inhabiting the Old World. In reality, however, its usage is often extended to all inhabitants of the New World who arrived there before the Second Wave of Colonisation or, in some extreme cases, even the Third Wave. As such, the term does little to describe the actual people it is meant to represent, who vary greatly based on the tribe they are part of. There are, however, certain traits that the majority of Vurradins seem to share in common. Unlike most of the "civilised" humans, Vurradins do not worship the Gracious Wind but instead venerate the spirits, those of their ancestors in particular. Such beliefs, called "animism" in the scientific society, are one of the main points of conflict between the settlers and the native population of the New World. The countless brutalities performed by the former do not help to build up the trust either.
