Session 12 - Shadowfell

Last time....
The party dealt with the heavy blow of losing their sister Jane, they wrapped up the painting holding Zedar and prepared to leave. In the distance Vecna approached across the sky. Vecna's butler, a massive black lionfolk, encountered the party on the tower roof and after a short but vicious battle, the party came out on top. Everyone except Zelmar fled down the tower whilst being chased by Spectres. Zelmar stood at the top, strategizing.....he then followed the party when the spectres started attacking him too. The party ran through the castle, blasting spectres away and dodging their necrotic attacks. They arrived at the front door where they could see Aska waiting for them below. The party made it to his carriage and then escaped before Vecna could return. After several hours of running, the party took shelter by an out cropping of rocks and boulders and rested. Here they reincarnated Stickler as a purple Rock Gnome and destroyed the painting after Zedar disintegrated himself. The party then met Aska's Apprentice, Kauket (Ket). A 'young' shadowborn assassin who had a little girl with him. The girl was rescued from a green hag and was a member of the Vistani. Seeking a way out of the shadowfell, the party joined Ket on their way to return the child.
The party headed west wards to a location Aska had mentioned would require music to navigate their path further. Outosan played several calm melodies which summoned the silver mists around them. They were transported to a demiplane where there was color, grass, and the beauty of the Vistani Camp. A series of colorful and warm tents, caravans and people. The people played music, danced and showed off their talents for performance while enjoying their evening.
Rauni, an elderly blind woman was waiting for the party. She guided the child back to the camp and gave Ket the honor of being called Giogoto. An honored guest of the Vistani. Ket was also given a gold coin with intricate runes on it.
Rauni let the party into her tent where she queried the group on their identities and travels. During this process she also looked into Thejeons future using the mystical cards she had. Thejeon received a card of a woman holding a violin on a cliff side, a loxodon in a dessert and the grim reaper. The party also heard about a Savras religious Cleric in the camp who could potentially bring back their lost Sister.
A magical carpet became quite friendly with PyonPyon and Ket.
The party then headed out of Rauni's tent and enjoyed the performance of the Prastonata.
