Session 14

The party boarded the Goldfinch (a merchant vessel carrying Abyss stone for the Baruk Jultz Mining Guild) and left Neverwinter. The party took some time to get to know the crew of dark iron dwarves and got comfortable with the vessel as they travelled. Their journey began with a mighty storm followed by thick mist. When the crew woke up one morning there was a large aqua dragon sleeping on the deck. After some scurrying around, the party decided to talk to the dragon and initiate some diplomacy. The dragon demanded a sacrifice or else the ship would get it. Zelmar came up with some quick thinking bribery...offering a large portion of the abyss stone for the crews safety. The dragon took them up on it and left.
During this encounter, however, they noticed a small girl was hiding away in the storage area. Kauket later snuck off to interact with the girl and to give her some food. The girls name was Elvira and she was escaping Neverwinter after a freak accident at her home. She is seeking aid at the Institute of Arcane in Delselar.
The party did some fishing and Pyon Pyon went off to explore a ship wreck. She found a man standing on the water and immediately headed back to warn the others. Before they had much chance to prepare, Mistral appeared on the boat and questioned them about their background and motives. Zelmar handed him the letter from Sir Guldoon and Pyon Pyon was very open about where the party was from and what they knew.
was looking to kill Sir Guldoon and likely to do the same for William Tuk but since the party had some information, he declared them prisoners and joined the ship so that they could be taken to the Turmish empire for further questioning. Unfortunately during the first combat encounter one of the sails was damaged and as a result they need to first make a repair stop at Lancan (a pirate smugglers den). Mithral mentioned that he may want to....eradicate the island afterwards.
