Personal history

When he came out of the south lands and saw Ethilia for the first time he became very interested in the political landscape he saw. This was the first time he had ever seen such a large organized society before and saw it as a great opportunity to gain fame and glory. He spent the first five years in Ethilia learning.
After this he took on the persona as a wise sage of the Wilscan people, come to Ethilia to warn them of the coming destruction of the empire. A complete lie to his knowledge, but he took this and used it to his advantage to get into the courts of the lords and spread his influence.
As it turns out he was roughly correct, being off by only a few years about when the fall of the old empire would be. Unfortunately he was too old to properly capitalize upon his success when the empire's fall did happen, but his name has gone down with some infamy as he 'successfully' guessed the most ground shaking event in recent Ethilia history.

Education

Received a few years in the druid traditions common among the 'learned' Wilscan people. So far as can be gathered he was expelled from the druidic order for seeking fame and glory above all else.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

He is motivated by a profound desire for fame. It has caused him a considerable amount of pain but also helped much of Ethilia be in a more secure position for the fall of the old empire than most other provinces.

Wealth & Financial state

He was never able to hold onto wealth. At one point he was gifted a town house by a nobleman of the governor's court, but he lost it shortly afterwards in a bet about the outcome of a race. He would usually use his money as leverage to be noticed by the public eye in some stunt or action.

Circumstances of Birth

The Wilscan Sage emerged out of obscurity in the southern lands.
