Richelle's Grotto

Richelle's Grotto is an old cavern that was said to have been the hiding place of Captain Richelle Rivers. Secluded in Moonblight within it's Red Barrier Lake, Richelle's Grotto is rumored to be the place where her ship, Civil War, resided. Within this Grotto, it's been said to have held all of her treasures that she managed to bring with her onto the mainland after she left her life of piracy behind her.

Geography

Part of the grotto as seen via entrance.

To access the cavern, one would have to find the entrance to it within Red Barrier Lake. Thanks to the magic tricks that Richelle Rivers had learned eons ago, the entrance is hidden from normal eyes. The trick to it involves the Monoliths surrounding the lake, and obtaining a key that Richelle had split up and left in The Sands, Terra Eclipsis, and Strakh.

The inside of the Grotto is rocky and humid, with a wood trail embedded into the rock walls overhanging the water at the bottom. As it goes deeper underground, there'll be plenty of waterfalls within the area, with a faint mist covering everything within.

Captain River's Treasure

Within the Grotto is a wall that seperates a large part of the enviroment from the other side. On the other side of this wall is where Captain River's treaure lies, said to be made up of thousands of dollars worth of gold and artifacts. Alongside that, Not much is known about what lies on the other side, only that her ship and the treasure is there. Access into this part of the Grotto is restricted by powerful Barriers and other such magical spells, and any attempt at mining into the room or tearing through the wall is met with the intruder finding themselves warped far away from Moonblight.

Right next to the wall is a grave, whereupon every month, flowers are left at it by an unknown figure. The inscription on it reads:

TO THE ONLY WOMAN I'VE EVER LOVED.
THE ONLY ONE WHO SHOWED ME
WHAT THE FUTURE CAN HOLD

Ecosystem

Most of the floral life within this grotto is composed of plants that have been taken from other worlds, only kept in check by the secluded nature of the Grotto. Small Everwood Trees hang down from the sides of the cavern, supplied by sunlight shining down from holes at the top of the grotto. Various flowers and bushes all line the wooden path.
