Ace of Spades

This legendary gun was a gift from an unnamed solar to the late Shiro Mori. The exact story of how and why Shiro was gifted the gun has changed with each telling to the point of uncertainty, but one detail has always remained consistent - somehow, someway, Shiro had saved this solar from certain death by means that defy logic and explanation.

Over time, Shiro's bond with the weapon and its creator strengthened and in kind, the weapon was forged and reforged by virtue of Shiro's tenacity, until the Shattering split the world in half. In the war against Shuriig and its minions, the solar was mortally wounded and with its dying breath, passed what remained of its power into the weapon, creating the artifact as we now know it.

The weapon's power over the past thirty years has been undeniable, so much so that the Spade has become synonymous with Shiro and those who would ally with him ... but likewise, it has become a terrible beacon to those who would wish ill will on whomever owns the gun and whatever they stood for.
