Aqarmia the Deep Mother

The sworn enemy of Gorontir, Aqarmia layers in the northern regions of the Devilis Desert in places heavily comprised of rare jewels and precious metals. Brave adventurers have often tried to plunder her territory, following in the footsteps of the lucky few who have escaped with enough wealth to buy a kingdom, but most meet their ends before their witless greed can be sated, assuming they lack the means to sate Aqarmia’s in exchange for their continued survival. Fortunately, Aqarmia rarely leaves her den, so “death by ancient blue dragon” is limited to the immediate vicinity.
Rumor has it should Aqarmia ever be inclined to face Gorontir in combat, the battle will end decisively in Aqarmia’s favor, explaining his constant need to seek assistance posting patrols and guards in the region surrounding her lair.
