Environment

Chromatia follows the environment rules as laid out in the Chapter 8 of the PHB, with a few additional notes specific to our environment.

Falling

In addition to normal rule of taking 1d6 damage for every 10 feet you’ve fallen, if you fall far enough to max out the damage taken (20d6), you additionally must roll on the Lingering Injuries and System Shock tables from the DMG – meaning that yes, not only could experience a serious or life-threatening injury, but there is also a small percent chance of instantaneous death on hitting the ground.   Watch your step.

Food and Water

Tracking rations is usually assumed to be a non-issue. Most adventurers know how to find the resources they need wherever they go, and even if you the player don’t always remember to bring supplies on an adventure, your character does. After all, they’re the ones living in the game world and subject to the effects of daily living.   It is up to the game master to decide whether rations and supplies will be tracked for given mission. That said, the game master should provide ample warning before the mission begins if this is or should be a consideration for participating in the mission to give you and other players the chance to stock up on any necessary supplies.
