GM Compensation

After your mission is complete, whether the mission was successful or not, you as the game master get a small bonus for your character as compensation for taking the time and effort to generate content.   You gain one-quarter of all experience awarded during the mission and may grant it to the character you've included in the mission. Once you reach the point where you no longer have to include your own characters in a mission (Adult+), you can apply the bonus to any one of your characters. You still log this in your XP log as !xp "value" "Mission (DM XP)" for logging. Furthermore, whether you had a character participate or not, you gain a copy of the mission's Core Chromatite to distribute to one of your PCs.   Again, this is in addition to mission rewards.
For example, let's assume you run a mission with a total experience value of 8,000 XP. 8,000 divided by 4 is 2,000.   You may add 2,000 XP to the character who joined the mission, or if you're sufficient rank, to any one of your characters.
