Oath of the Dragon Knight
The oath of the dragon knight is a solemn promise to uphold the balance between dragons and humanity, a call to the valor necessary to not only defend against dragons but to actively confront them when they threaten the peace of stability of the world. Those who swear this oath answer a call of duty few dare to stand for, but those who do become proper legends.
Some dragons are known to actively participate as members of the Order, to oversee that these powers are used to maintain balance rather than an excuse to massacre other dragons. Those who stray from the path of maintaining peace and prosperity between the species are stripped of their rank and power with little hesitation.
