Tools

Chromatia supports the following tool kits. Generally, tools have no explicit score associated with them – if a game master calls for an ability check (not to be confused with a skill check), and you can reasonably use a tool you are proficient with to complete the task, you are permitted to include your proficiency score on the check (provided you tell the game master your intent and they agree the tool’s usage is applicable).
Proficiency with the relevant tools are necessary for players who wish to craft items (see Artifice for more information). If you just need a quick reminder of which tools are commonly used with which item types, expand the below chart.
