Frorer's Tome

It appears to be an Enduring Spellbook, but the things scribbled into it aren't spells. There are some diagrams added to sections, but they appear to have been written in some sort of code   “Beathan has perished. Some spectre got to him when his group went out ranging to find a new avenue to harass Redface. Three others fell in the ambush. The spirit sunk back into the stone, nowhere to be found. With heavy heart, I am now second. Why did he always insist to scout himself?”   “Dubh seems harried. Leading has taken a toll on her. Decisions don’t come easily and her face seem haggard. I feel continue my focus on the moon and see what I can do to ease her burdens.”   “Redface sent some on his cronies. They avoid the homelands most of the time, but were looking for something. I am sick of the mud and dirt. If only we could claim Amorak Tor.”   “Amorak Tor has been claimed. Bones are brainless and will always lose to a sharp mind. Beathag claimed to understand the tables. Leading to the Halls, she says. The Tor is too open. Not safe. The Halls should be better, harder to find. A lot of ground to cover though.”   “My grandfather spoke of Ormskirk and how it was taken down. It was a large victory for us. We hadn’t been Nalus Piscu for long, he said, and it validated the cause. We were righteous, true to the land. A long time ago this was though.”   “Dubh has grown haggard. She seems ill, possibly some disease sent by Redface. It’s the damn insects, everywhere. We need to get out of the mud. Stonehill might hold information.”   “We lost Sìle and Flòraid in Stonehill. Redface doesn’t want us in there. The outside wall proved easier than the inside. Another clue from the stones. We can hone in now, but is it worth it.”   “Dubh has gone.”   “Research is proving more difficult than imagined, and scouting alone is unsafe. Where have our people flocked to? Where is our pack?”   “Hornhill is the last bastion. Shuffles have been heard, seen at the top. Avoidance is safest and seems the wisest option. I have decided to send Cathal and Domnhull along. Caranai will stay with me. I can’t lose them all, not now.”   “Cathal came back all bloodied, but said the task was done. We have a good idea of where to go.”   “We have found it.”   “I will send Caranai out to find me materials. Cathal and he are in control of security. I felt needed to promote Para, and she will assist Cathal in the training of our children. The pack must be strong once more.”   “The wolves evade us. The curse still holds the land in a tight grip. Redface be damned! These weird creatures with sharp claws have also shown up in the Moonlands. They are proving to be quite the problem. They are good feed however…”   “People have landed on the shores. Newcomers, strange faces. We will see what they want.”   “These people want blood. Cathal was near the river and died. He and his scouting party. Slaughtered in cold blood.”   “The halls are strong and we will make them stronger. These newcomers will come for us. Are they aligned with Redface? They will not likely find us, for the stones were broken.”   “They found us. We will not go gently into that cold night and will rage with the dying of the light. We will howl, I say, HOWL! Tear their throats out!”   “I am close. During the next Scarlet Sliver I might be able to try something. It might work.”   “Interrupted. These people have come in, blowing everything to smithereens. We have barricaded ourselves in. We might be the last of the Nalus Piscu, but we will not go down easily. Some of our brothers and sister are still out there.”   “The Sliver did nothing, but and the travelers are fast approaching. One trick left, though my companions have mostly fallen. I will keep everyone close, and we can hopefully surprise them when we make our last stand. I fear for our country.”   “Father, I am sorry I failed you.”   The decrypters of this book kept the contents secret for special reasons or cause of forgetfulness. Thunk brought back from the dead finally shares his notes on the tome to the Starward Eye
