Giants

Giants look like very tall and portionally very stout humans. Imagine a fantasy dwarf that was about 8ft tall, but don't neccesarily have beards. While young giants tend to be nomadic, older giants settle down in settlements in the mountains.

Due to their nomadic lifestyle, the giants have figured out that they are fit for being merchants. Trade routes were established way before humans came to the Ironlands. Most settlements are along these trade routes. Most giant caravans also provide other services like travel protection, as long as the traveled route is on thier pay anyway.

When trading, giant prefer you give them goods and they give you coin, but will also take coin for payment. This is because when a caravan reaches one of the giant settlements in the north, they will normally trade in their goods to get coin from the settlement.

For the most part you cannot see giant settlements from the surface. Over thousands of years they have dug into the mountains and hills creating vast underground systems. Some parts have massive caverns where mulitple buildings were constructed, but most are hallways with smaller caverns cut into them, and those are where giants make homes until death.
