Glimmerdim

Glimmerdim is the capital city of the Cystern Elves, and hosts the throne of power for the Cystern Elven King, known as the Floating Throne. The massive city usually travels down the largest river in Evermist, known as River Cysterani. The tidings of the city coming down the river usually brings good trade and cultural exchanges with the other elven subraces, but in times of old, it meant the beginning of an invasion.
The city is able to connect smaller villages or boats with it behind its trail via large vines that are connected to the city center and the village centers. This pole is known as the Carrion Pillar. Glimmerdim is almost completely made of glass, making it so the sun reflects off of it so others may be in awe of the city and more likley to trade and purchase within it. Several belltowers are within the city to produce beautiful chimes that can be heard a day in advance of its arrival to a coastline to signify others of its approach. In times of old, these chimes used to play a different tune- a far more aggressive one- to install fear and dread upon its enemies it was soon to invade.
