The Gilded Coast

The Gilded Coast is a small region found in the extreme southwest of Roscrea, and west of Halalastier. It is defined by its coastline and the region is generally agreed to end after the Crooked Peaks. The Split Isle is considered part of the region. The region is known for its goblin clans that have made the region their home. The town of Ferengon serves as the region's largest settlement, and tries to keep order of the land, but often has a hard time in doing so. The often overworked Eighth Legion of the Roscrean Military does what it can to keep order in the region. A portal into the Plafes is rumored to be somewhere in the region, ever since the Tallyman King entered the region to find a weakpoint between the Plafes and Boreus, and found that the goblins inhabiting the Crooked Peaks and the chaos they brought thinned the line between the two realms, but the portal he entered through to the Plafes to destroy the Pactomeis was rumored to never have closed.

Geography and Environment

The Gildest Coast is a slightly gloomy region, with the foreboading Crooked Peaks looking down upon it, which have very little plant life on them. It is a humid region with pockets of trees, but for the most part, full of fields, however, hills can be found near the Crooked Peaks and the shoreline gets more jagged the more one goes west.
