The Isles of Humanity
The Isles of humanity are a string of islands found at the west coast of Roscrea. The islands were found by a stray patrol boat, off the coast of the Disservive Gulf. The boat was set off course due to a storm and crashed into the easternmost island of Algore. There, the survivors found extravagant spices and oils on the island. Eventually being rescued by a search party, the survivors returned to tell the tale of the potential riches that were on the islands. A colonization effort from Kingdom Osaville was launched at the request of the emperor, and the islands were eventually settled. However, after a few years of the humans stripping the islands for resources, the spices and oils found on the islands were run dry. There was very little return on investment for the expensive colonization effort, and the capital of the islands was Named Fool's March. Years later, the Dragonkin who were living on the mainland of Roscrea, under the close watch by the empire, were sent to live on the westernmost island of the three islands, known as Sayquine. It is of important note that the island was not always there, and the waters were once fully charted where they currently are, until one day, the island suddenly appeared.
Natives known as the Scye once dominated the archipelago from the first to the mid-second era. The land was dark and mountainous with strange flora. Few elusive creatures such as the Emberkie survived the transformation of the islands. The remaining Scye in the islands have come together to capture one of the last of the Emberkie in hopes to bring back the old biome of the islands and return their species to their past glory.
