The Shroudhal Isles are a collection of islands off the southern coast of Stonefalls. The island's climate ranges between desert wastelands and tropical with golden beaches. The Shroudhal Isles are constantly contested in ownership between companies, unions, empires, and kingdoms, such as the Darkshell Trading Company. It is also under contention of the Elderwater, who wish to see the Isles unspoiled from the population, as they believe the Shroudhal Isles to be sacred to both Meredian and Ilal-Bilendiuer, as it was where one of the Four Forebears had decided to produce young, which led to an unknown fate but are somewhere in the islands. 
The Shroudhal Isles are in a perpetual state of changing hands and shifting borders. Cities rise and fall in mere weeks, the the port city of Daestrom, which has opted to remain out of the conflicts of the factions is known as a safe haven from those looking to leave the political and physical conflicts of the factions. 

Geography

The Shroudhal Isles can be separated into many different groups such as the following;
The Immares- A collection of four large islands to the northwest, known for its calmer demeanor, and home to many rich snobby nobles. 
The Pearls- A collection of three large islands, the largest of which is home to the headquarters of the Darkshell Trading Company. Many valuable resources can be found here, such as pearls and sea creatures. Also home to numerous resorts.
The Moonlets- A collection of three large islands to the northeast, the Moonlets contain the highest activity of the Elderwater and also house the great forest of Duand, as well as several earls and knightly orders.
The Scorched Lagoon- A collection of numerous small islands to the southeast that have traded hands many times for their spice. They are easily the most fought over part of the Isles.
