Civil Deities
Deities are sub-systems, created by ATHENA to delegate the menial tasks to do with running Athens, on a day-to-day basis.
The 9 Deities are systems created by Athena that carry out different functions for the megalopolis. They all carry out important roles as they keep the city running and allow the humans to live there. Below, is a list that contains all the Deities that the city beholds and their overall functions:
APHRODITE
This sub-system was created to provide medical care for those in need. Aphrodite keeps track of all the people in medi-care and assigns treatments to every single one of them. Aphrodite also looks at the general health status of the civilians and tries to improve it by using complex algorithms.
ARES
This sub-system was created to provide security and military personal for the city. Ares creates droids specifically for keeping people safe and "under control" so they do not break any laws. These security protocols take place on the security checkpoints, quadrants and most importantly, Athena's spire.
DEMETER
This sub-system was created to terraform and take care of agriculture. Demeter has only control over Gamma Quadrant as that is where the farming and other agricultural jobs take place.
HADES
This sub-system was created to take care of the dead bodies and scraps from robots. Hades acts mostly as a scrapyard for robots and an incrimation site for biological life. It also conducts it's "removal" processes under the city lands, somewhere in between the city and the actual landscape of Circa.
HEPHAESTUS
This sub-system was created to create life for machinery and parts for construction and mainenance of Athens. Hephaestus co-operates with all the other deities to construct physical components for the city to function - similar to Hephaestus, god of fire, metalworking, stone masonry, forges and the art of sculpture; in Greek mythology.
HERA
This sub-system was created to create housing districts for people to live in. It uses complex algorithms to measure house and create blueprints for Hephaestus to construct the buildings mostly in Alpha Quadrant, but also a few in Beta and Gamma quadrant.
HERMES
This sub-system was created to provide transportaion and pathways fopr everyone and everything in Athens. Hermes is controls everything from sky railways and hover cars to underground tunnels and hover trains.
POSEIDON
This sub-system was created to provide functional water systems across Athens. It supervises irrigation systems, drrainage systems and anything else that is related to water.
ZEUS
This sub-system was created to control artificial weather systems, as well as lighting within each quadrants. These two can vary within each Quadrant, and it is Zeus' job to make it perfect for all the workers and machines.
