Akitar
Qualifications
To be designated as the next Akitar by the previous Akitar. As most members of the Amirajeb go through training to be an Akitar, they are very educated in not only the ways of Pakesh, but also the ways of secular rule. This training of learning about the best Mudar from the Juz'mins as well as the appointed Thanaan from the Amirajeb family line.
Requirements
The Akitar must be from the Amirajeb Dynasty line.
Appointment
There are two ceremonies that take place before the new Akitar can be chosen. The first is the actual ritual that takes place on the Mountain between either an aged Akitar, the Thanaan, the Wasi and the Akitar to be. This ceremony is a very personal moment between the old and new Akitar and is done in front of Pakesh to ensure that he knows his chosen. After the Thanaan has finished the final parts of the ritual and make the transfer of being chosen official in the eyes of Pakesh, the second ceremony will happen in Enupis. This ceremony is held in the Highest temple and is a celebration for all of Sisronia. A lot of people come to Enupis during this time to see the Choosing of the next Akitar.
Duties
The Akitar is the leader of the Pakeshmahal people, the Pakesh faith, and the Land of Sisronia. The Akitar is meant to lead them in the ways of Pakesh and protect them from the corruption of Muht Ali, the Trickster of the Moon.
Responsibilities
The Akitar responsibilities involve resolving the issues brought to them by the Juz'min. These could include disputes between high members of the Juz'min that need Akitar guidance or getting the okay on new development within the kingdom.
Benefits
The benefit to being the Akitar is the reverence of the role is bestowed upon the holder of the rank. Being Akitar of Sisronia means that you are honored by almost all Sisronians and Pakeshmahals, and in some sects of Pakeshism is even revered as divine. With being the Akitar, everyone listens and their word is held in very high regard if not final in most circumstances. No one is above the Akitar of Sisronia (aside from Pakesh himself) and the Akitar has no mortal man that they need to answer to, they are the person that people come to for answers and permission. Along with being the Akitar and being apart of the Amirajeb dynasty, they are privledged to all of the best food, education, entertainment, and protection.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
There are no means to remove the Akitar from power as they have the blessing of Pakesh and Pakesh wouldn't choose someone who is corruptible enough to have to be dismissed.
