The Bovine Knights
An elite formation of Cavalry knights hand picked and trained by Amadcus Moonsend, the Iron Bull. These individuals are considered elite knights of the Northern Kingdom of Faairland and accompany The Iron Bull on the battlefield. They are all battle hardened as they were born into the War of Ages and war is almost all they know. They are all fiercely loyal to their commander and each and everyone of them would gladly lay down their life for Amadcus and for Faairland.
Composition
Manpower
There are 1000 active knights under the Bovine Knight banner that ride with the Iron Bull.
Equipment
The Bovine Knights use weapons and armor that are standard for Faairland warriors and are equipped with the highest grade of materials that can be provided from the north. The esteemed members of the Bovine Knights that are The Iron Bull's closest warriors even have access to steel made in a bastardized form that mimics RoyLyon methods. This steel is much more rugged and heavier, but has the same durability as RoyLyon steel.
Vehicles
Each member of the Bovine Knights is provided with a Northern bred steed that they are meant to take care of independently as that is their partner on the battlefield. The bond between a Bovine Knight and their steed is unbreakable that leads to both parties fighting for the other viciously till the end.
Structure
The Bovine Knights all answer to Amadcus Moonsend, the Iron Bull, but there are rankings within the knighthood. While all members are elite knights within the Faairland military, there is a level of seniority between the older members of the knighthood and the newer recruits.
While they do listen to the command structure of the kingdom, they prioritize the Iron Bull's commands over most others. A Bovine Knight would be very hard pressed to disobey a direct order from the Iron Bull.
Tactics
Bovine Knights prefer charging straight into battle, regardless of the size of the enemy forces. With their war horns blaring as they charge, a small group of bovine knights can sound like an entire army and often times in
