The unified continent crumbles when countless ursurpers attempt to take the throne. Full scale war breaks out, every candidate for the throne amassing an army, calling aid from abroad and seeking to destroy the six other forces that want to win just as passionately as the next. After a decades long war, the continent divided itself, using mountains and changes in environment to create borders. Four new realms were formed, and the continent began again.
