The continent is divided and entire peoples isolate themselves.

After the human race nearly wipe themselves out, the survivors divide the land, all with the promise of isolation for 100 years to have the chance to recover, settle and develop. This was kept on the most part, though some groups attempted to gain control others, but where quickly quashed by those attempting to create culture and technology.
