Ishttyn was an active member in The Tilted Scale occult; until she was mortally wounded a battle against Great Lady Neva, over a decade ago. She was able to get her soul captured by a fellow occult member and Lord Juntas was somewhat successful in giving her a new body....except for the fact that the body still had a soul. It took her a few months to be able to successfully control the body; while killing the soul in the original body.
Ishttyn has used this to her success, to sponsor new talent that she sends her minions out to scour the world to collect. Over time she has collected a lot of wealth due to her deal with the deity and uses it to keep the college going to find those talent sacrifices.
