DELETE Alfajr Oasis
About eight miles east of the Alzamarrid River lie a series of ponds around a central, freshwater well. This area is not by definition an oasis but it is still named as much because it is the first place travelers from the east can find a reliable source of drinking water for a few dozen miles.
In this area, a transient neighborhood arose about the time that Suzerain first started to explode in size; around the time of Sheik Hussain Al-Sharad. This eventually became permanent and it remains to this day. Even though it's more than a couple of miles from the outer edges of Mushtarak, the Alfajr is still considered a district of the city. It even hosts a Haris Zamar post.
The Alfajr is characterized by the dozen or so smaller caravanserai that make their permanent, such as they are, homes here. These service smaller merchants who don't have a permanent place in the city. Around these, sits a residential neighborhood that features some shops, a couple of coffee houses and hosteleries, and even a bath house, all of them of average quality and fare.
