The Book Foundation
The Book Foundation is a catch-all term for a number of philanthropic enterprises under the control of the Book Family.
Most importantly, this includes the Book Foundations Private Investigation Service, which is offered as a free resource to federal and local law enforcement agencies.
Public Agenda
Establised in 1900 by Arthur Book, the Foundation's mandate was to use Book's enourmous fortune to better mankind.
The Foundation began its mission with aiding the poor and unfortunate in Coast City and around the world. It also invested heavily in the creation of new medicines, agricultural technology, sanitation, and other 'human benefit' industries.
In more recent years, Johnathan Book, now President of the organization, has expanded this mandate to provide a private investigation service staffed by a number of subject matter experts and consultants. These services are made available to law enforcement agencies are reasonable rates - really just covering the cost of travel and other essentials.
Assets
The Foundation maintains a number of buildings in Coast City and beyond.
The Jefferson building, in Coast City, is one such location. Much of their resources out side these locations is rented, rather than owned - cars, or jets, as an example.
