Montarthas Manor
A small town, subjected to frequent orc attacks, was protected by the General Montarthas and his army. There have been many generals at this station, protecting this ground, fighting off the invading ork armies.
General Oscar Montarthas, known for being fair, firm and stern towards his men, was the last to command this post. Not long from retirement, General Montarthas employed an advisor, Gertrude, who would assist the General in decision making with the forthcoming yearly orc invasions. This advisor was, in fact, an evil night hag, in possession of the Litche's Emerald, who devoured the souls of the city and any visitors that wandered in.
She seduced the General and gave him the Litche's Emerald, literally embedded into his chest, to aid in his growing power.
Soon she ran out of souls and the town collapsed in disarray, the Manor, the only standing building not destroyed. The town, covered in this strange moss, tress and grass dead. Stagnent air laggering over the city, nothing seemed to be alive, a baren wasteland.
