Ivory Down

The town to the hub of every southern and south eastern settlement of Vedania. Ivory Down sees the worst folks in the land. Its Ivory name comes from its ivory colored river birch homes. Down comes from the shallow valley it sits in, no wind comes through the town, and stays dark for much of the morning due to its lower elevation. Local legend says that within the small birch forest the surrounds the valley, lies a large birch tree that houses a dark spirit, a malevolent woodland creature that steals young children, and turns them into saplings on full moons.
