Meirvalian
Meirvalian's derive from the tall, tan, broad shouldered people of the Empire of Draugen, which they left in 1231 to settle their own large island nation. A warlike honor based society, Meirvalians are no stranger to cultural strife. Many separate civil wars and foreign conflicts have made them hardened to the life of battle. At age thirteen, one out of every four Meirvalians will be drafted into the army of the King, where they will surely see combat by sixteen years of age. The Kingdom was founded in 1422 as one nation until the civil war broke out, dividing the country into four warring Kingdoms. They cling on to old traditions of honor, but since the tyrant King Vincious overthrew and destroyed the other three Kings in 1618, uniting the country, since then the country has been wrought in war and turmoil continuously. Primarily with naval conflicts against Avalon.
At the end of the great war in 1642, the Island of Meirval, along with many others in the Crista Isles, were sunk below the ocean. This caused a great exodus of survivors from Meirval, which settled in a dozen nations across Mythris. They have faced persecution by Alamorians, Tel Morathians and Foridians, due to Meirvals warlike policies. Some countries have outright refused refugees, such as Avalon.
