The city of Merchants Rest boasts the most profitable and varied slave markets in the eastern hemisphere, known as the Skinfairs. Merchants Rests' notorious, green-sailed slave galleys regularly ply the sea-lanes, carrying living cargo from Avalon, City States of Vedania, and beyond. Hundreds of slaves are sold here in a single day, making it infamous in the western world, such as the Kingdom of Alamor and its free peopled city states. Many people disavow its inhumane transactions, but still purchase the cities services to fill their fields with bodies.
