Sergeant Giovanni Hatham

Sergeant Hatham was born to a lower class family of wheat farmers in Goldenfield . He dreamed of more illustrious adventures than plowing a field for a living, and with that joined the 74th Ducal Hammers at seventeen. By 25 he had excelled beyond his peers and attained the rank of Sergeant and earned numerous awards for valor from fighting against Vestan pirates. In 1632 he received the orders of his dreams and was charged with commanding a small retinue of Ducal soldiers in the Sanguine Keep . It was there that he helped oversea the keeps glory restored. In the servitude to its new lords, he has dedicated his duty and honor to their orders. He is a stalwart man of duty and honor who loves his country and everything that it stands for.
During the invasion of the Moors, while serving directly under command of his liege lords, Sergeant Hatham lost his life while taking evasive action on the back of a griffon east of Carnwrath . His body was sundered and was given a quick death, long before his body plunged a thousand feet to the ground.
