Tel Morathian Marine Corps

The Tel Morathian Marine Corps is considered the best maritime light infantry in the world. Their training is rigorous, and so is the life of a Marine. Their are four battalions of 1,000 combat ready Marines. Each battalion is assigned to one of the four Tel Morathian fleets. The training encompass nautical navigation, land navigation, close combat training with sabres, heavy repeating crossbows, ship to shore landings and ship guard duty. They are highly disciplined, and while the sailors of the Tel Morathian Navy have lax standards while under way, the Marines do not. They maintain discipline at all times, and are furious warriors when the time comes. Another key component of the Marines is their interesting way of getting to shore. The mages of Arcanix designed and enchanted small twelve man landing boats, that are magically propelled.
1st Royal Fleet/3rd Marine Battalion: Stationed in Navi Ren. In charge of defending the Emerald Gate and patrolling Green Bay. 2nd Royal Fleet/1st Marine Battalion: Stationed in Freebridge. Exchanges 11 month sea deployments along the Grey Coast with 3rd Royal Fleet. 3rd Royal Fleet/4th Marine Battalion: Stationed in Freebridge. On deployment rotation schedule with 2nd Royal Fleet. 4th Royal Fleet/2nd Marine Battalion: Stationed in Freebridge. Quick reaction fleet/reinforcement fleet.
