The Fens

Upper Rendlea is made up of the entire stretch of the wetlands known as the Fens. The Fens are a soaked moss laden landscape, filled with all manner of foul creatures that scavenge off of those who travel too far into the marshes. Willo Wisps taunt unlucky wanderers into the mist and sentient undead are said to have small communities in the Fens. The only Upper Rendleans that live in the Fens are on the eastern portion in the Peat Moss Hills. Those that gamble with mining the peat live hardy lives and are paid well for the danger that always surrounds them.
