Willrend Forest

A forest of obvious age, the Willrend is filled with tall, ancient trees. The people from the adjacent towns and farmsteads rarely fell trees from the forest, but they do journey into the edges to harvest falling limbs and for the occasional tree. They’ve focused on the part of the forest along the banks of the Auchland River because floating wood downstream is a lot easier than dragging it across the ground. Its well known that massive dire creatures make their warrens deep within the woods, guarded by peaceful druids of Obad-Hai. Every so often people disappear from the wood-line never to be seen again, causing an uproar from the towns that the druids are behind it, which the druids deny.
