Witch Queen (a.k.a. The Blood Queen, She Who Wills, Daughter of Pestilence, Plague Queen)

The Witch Queen Morganna is one of the nine daughters of Baba Yaga, the mother of all witchcraft and progenitor of deep powers such as blood magic. Morganna appeared mysteriously in the Slave Realm after the War of Idle in 651. The circumstances of her birth are unknown, and only rumors suffice as answers. As with her other sisters they manifested as young woman, some beautiful some not, but all horrifying to behold with unique personality and physical mutations. For nearly forty years the sisters battled one another for their mothers non existent love and favor. These battles could be described as cataclysmic. They raised pieces of the earth to throw at one another, called tempests from the skies, rained acid from the heavens and filled the valleys with poisonous gasses. In 688, a sister was slain by none other than Morganna, who above her sisters didn't wish for love as much as power. Ichortrice, her sister, was destroyed utterly by Morganna deep within The Dark Forest, where the scars of the battle remain. It was this event that some believe is the cause for Baba Yaga to disappear just a few weeks after Ichortrices death. This sent the remaining eight sisters into a frenzy of unimaginable emotional turmoil. Immedietly, Morganna had declared herself worthy of being the Witch Queen.
The daughters flocked to strength as was their nature, and with that many of them joined Morganna and her call to be crowned Witch Queen. The war was quick, as sisters, Tularene, Umbar, Neatrice and Larnune joined together with Morganna, who they feared the most. While Agatha, Quenir, Casandra, Venatrice and Zentira remained unaligned and at odds with each other. Morganna gave them the chance to join her in her vision of a new empire, but they refused for their own stubborn and vain reasons. One by one, Morganna and her allied sisters hunted down their own kin. It is said that these cataclysmic battles moved the earth of the entire region, fire storms rained blood overhead, and forests came alive with sickening venomous barbs that hunted prey. The dead arose in droves and cut a bloody swathe across the countryside, resulting in tens of thousands of slaves to die or worse, become undead themselves.
Since her escape from Gallowspire in 1333, Morganna has sat upon the throne of Venom and Pox in Shadowick. Her four loyal sisters subdued by her overwhelming power and ambition. Morganna has a temper and evil within her that rivals or overshadows ones such as Empress Rhona Proxia. She is in every way a conqueror, and finds a great ecstasy in forcing weaker people to her will. Her focus has always been to be the ruler of a decadent empire that will stretch across Mythris, even declaring it was why she was born.
