Kingdom of Meirval

The Kingdom of Meirvals history is wrought in turmoil, from civil wars to large scale military operations throughout the Crista Islands. For hundreds of years the country was split into four separate Kingdoms, each lusting for more and more power. It wasn't until King Vincious one by one overthrew the others, slaughtering their families and burning their villages. Since 1618, Meirval has been ruled by the vicious King, who frequently oppresses his people with psychological fear tactics and brutal examples of military prowess. The Kingdom holds a strong alliance with the Royal Draugen Empire and has been at war with Avalon since 1621. When the great war in 1642 occurred, the tidal waves brought upon by Sereptra swallowed the entire island, putting it underwater and killing over three fourths of the Meirvalians. Since 1642, the last of the Meirvalians have sought refuge in multiple countries across Mythris.
