Sid Kaiber hunts and slays the Red Dragon of Standholme.

Kaiber searches the mountains to the north for an entire year before finding its lair, much of the next part is of debate, but Kaiber sneaks into its den, and severs the dragons head and returns three months later to the king. Sid Kaiber is blessed by the God St. Cuthbert, and is his chosen mortal.
