Soul Capital

Certain creatures (undead, outsiders, spirits) have an additional form of capital available to them: souls.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Souls can be exchange for gold pieces at a rate of 1 gold per 2 soul capital cashed in.

Soul capital can be exchanged for influence or magic capital at 1:1 rate.

Soul capital cannot be used to augment skill checks like other capital but can be used as spell components:

• grant 1 temporary essentia per 100 sould capital spent (lasts 1 round)
• increase caster level of a spell by up to +2 at a cost of 100 soul capital per plus
• increase spell DC by +1 cost of 200 soul capital
