Where to Start
My recommendation is to start with the
World Meta for an overview of the premise and general strokes that build the world. After that, dive into the available articles by navigating in the World Codex! If you are a visual person you might start with the World Map or the
Chronicles of the Seven Seas, and interactive timeline (warning: it's still under construction).
Navigating the World
The easiest way to access the World Codex (table of contents) is by clicking the golden compass in the top lefthand corner.
This is always available on every page! Clicking a category will open any list of subcategories and articles below it. Clicking an article will open that article. If you want to visit a category page, click the arrow next to that category.
Category pages contain a mini-codex with the subcategories and articles in that category.
Article pages have a path-style menu at the top just under the title where you can see all of the categories and subcategories that article belongs to; clicking any of these will show you the other articles in that category or subcategory. And of course, you can always click through to any link displayed on a page, or hover over those links to see a summary or preview of the article linked.
Interacting with the World
To comment, like, or subscribe/follow for updates in this world or any other on World Anvil, you can create a free account. Subscribers ("Adventurers" in World of Seven Seas!) can get notified of new content and there is additional community features coming soon to the entire site to interact with the world builders and each other. There are also
secrets and
hidden information in this world and others that may only be visible to some subscriber groups. In the case of WSS, some of this information is hidden for Gameplay purposes.
