Lost to Magic

When an Ilmitarian, most often sorcerers, get powerful enough and are consumed by an obsessive motivation or ambition, they can slip and completely lose themselves and dissolve into a purely magical form. These are the Lost to Magic. They take weird, nigh angelic forms and lose all traces of their former selves besides their great ambition. They have unlimited power. Once they complete their ambition or fail to try somehow, they go completely bonkers and usually freeze or disappear. Sometimes they go on rampages but that's rare. In the fire of their ambition, they often leave many dead in their wake, stopping at nothing to reach their goal. Some of their ambitions do not have a stated end point and they continue in their goal, unchanging into the eons.
