Each Season starts and ends with the equinox or solstice. The middle of the season is when welding rites happen. The Wealding year starts in the fall.

Plus, there are a handful (4-5 per year) of intercalary days dedicated to the Bastard. They don't fall on regular days - local saoi declare a particular day a Bastard's day, usually in response to some event. The rule of thumb is one day per season. Once in a great while, 2 days per season. This means the calendars don't always line up perfectly from one day to the next. The ritual days (Imbolc, Beltane, Samhain, and Nollaig) are a time for everyone to synchronize though.
