Captain Morley Oakland

The Captain of the Denerim Guards. Captain Oakland is charged with keeping the safety of a very large city while most of the guards and soldiers are traveling South with the King to fight Darkspawn. He first met Elissa Cousland when she entered the city and Fabian Bryland when he was searching for his brother. However, he ran into them again when Elissa and Fabian were standing over the bodies of two brigands. Fabian successfully convinced him that they had attacked him personally but Elissa did not. Instead she ran which raised Captain Oakland's suspicions even more. Later, when Elissa was brought to the jail as a suspicious character in the Noble Quarter, Oakland confided in Fabian that he was concerned she is actually the crime boss, Blood Lord. He did however, accept Fabian's assurances and allow Elissa bail. Captain Oakland does not know Elissa's actual identity and believes her to be "Iolite Wuht". The bail was set at 3 gold pieces and was paid for by Carnellian Cadash.
