The Atlantis Society

The Atlantis Society rose in 2220 when the Cyberions and Superions began to gain much power worldwide as a tribe. The raw siphoning of power from energy resources, as well as the technological and genetic advancements, causes a small group of Practitioners and Solarians, as well as those from other tribes, to bond together to thwart the powerful opponents of the transhumanist doctrine. Thomas insisted on balance as well as collective advancement. What is done by one is done by all. They experiment with an advanced physiological adaption if they conduct a deep mental practice. They engaged in all the pioneering activities, engaging in the singular vision of collective awakening. The Lifestyle pushes the boundaries beyond normal adaptation but fiercely strives for balance. Atlantean embraced the Work practice while pioneering a new technological neural connected democratic practice where the artificial intelligence collective data from the residents manifests policy predictions from their collective tensions. Atlantean is a land just as advanced as Cyberil but as environmentally aware as Vancouver. Even though Atlanteans are not fond of the world, it has a spiritual air. They believe their way of life is the future, and while others regard them with caution, their caution has a tinge of how to see whether the cult is advancing the practice or it is devolving into a brainwashed population of self-delusion.
What makes Atlanteans different than Elysians is their pluralistic experimentation across the various tribes on New Atlantis. Atlantean culture constitutes a zen practice preferring technologies that do not obscure the natural world. The pursuit of Atlanteans is unbecoming, desiring the islands' identity to be as vast and bottomless as the Atlantic Ocean itself. Clothes, tribal cultures, and technology are merely waves in that vast ocean. New Atlanteans advances this unbecoming practice as the final destination of freedom and awakening. These activities, from martial arts to technology, support this move towards unbecoming. One of the radical practices they engage in is raising each other children. The child whom they give birth to is not the child they raise, and the child they raise from birth to puberty will be given away and replaced with a sponsor family from puberty to their first graduation. It emphasizes the importance of the collective being their family, as each individual on the Island is possibly their mother and father.
While practitioners and solarians in the world, while admiring the islanders, illustrate caution and their frantical practice. A person develops a relationship with all of the members of the bubble, and only by unanimous decision can a member be allowed to enter a bubble. This slows the rate of expansion of Love bubbles as the more members it has, the higher the chance for the member to say no. All the voting is done in secret to avoid influence from other members.
Atlantean Diets
Atlanteans are omnivorous but look to use food to become healthy. Atleateans are an island of early adopters, and if the adoption is flourishing there, then it is rolled out to the rest of the mainland. An example of this early adoption mindset is grown meat in the lab. Their entire meat diet consists of grown meat, and mainlanders still need to adopt it as a main course diet. Atlantean cuisine is a soup cuisine. Stews are their primary choice of eating as they are fish people, and their diet has many marine elements. The artificial intelligence system is affectionally known as The Oracle, which is connected to the coordinate system, sharing information and updates. Atlantean Music
Traditional Atlantean music has a strong string implementation with drum accompaniment. Their songs have a swelling and ebbing theme, like the rising and settling of the ocean wave. Hence, Atlanteans have a vibrant dance culture, every bit as passionate and inhibited as Lunarian practice. However, where Lunarians embody Dance to express individuality, Atlanteans employ one Dance, the energy dance, a freeform moving qigong that combines tahi chi movements into a dynamic flow. Atlanteans pride themselves on their resonating going, which vibrates the air as finding the fitting energetic accompaniment within the body to meet the resonation outside so the interior and exterior lose boundary; they call this the Dance of the unbecoming.
